For the first minute or so, I'm sure I didn't do anything but stare dumbfounded at my computer screen. It does take a while for it to sink in, but when it does, look out. I just remember laughing wildly and dancing around the room with my dog - she was the only witness on hand to share my moment!
How do you plan on spending your winnings?
I'll pay off some bills, (yuck!), including the one for my new computer, and I'd like to make donations to my wonderful niece's and nephew's college funds. Then, maybe I'll think about taking an extra nice vacation with my husband this summer.

No more than twenty minutes, or so - not very long at all.
What advice do you have for others?
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
What do you do for good luck?
I close my eyes, breathe deep, and imagine myself winning big!
What is your dream holiday destination?
I'd like to see the pyramids in Egypt. A long, lazy boat trip down the Nile would be heaven for me.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to read - mostly novels and history. Also, I'm a huge movie buff. My absolutely favorite form of entertainment, however, is hanging out with friends, throwing a dinner party with lots of good wine and excellent conversation.
What 3 things would you take with you on a deserted island?
1) My husband; 2) a really good long book; 3) a huge box of matches (I saw what Tom Hanks went through in Castaway...)
Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?
I'm an actress living and working in Chicago. I perform in stage plays and I'm also the Artistic Director of a company that specializes in producing new work. I'm 41 years old and happily married to the man of my dreams.
